Tanker Trucks and why some have a kink in the middle of the tank?
I’ve noticed some of the big tanker trucks these days have a “kink” in the middle, as opposed to just being a long straight tube. Why is that? Is it to improve the ability to fully drain the tank, or is there some other reason?

B92 stock train arrives at Canary Wharf 57
The Docklands Light Railway (DLR), operated in plant high, bi-directional, only cars with four hinged doors on each side, with each train is normally composed of two cars 28m. Each car has 70 seats and has a total capacity of 284 passengers. The cars have driver's cabin, but there is a small console driver hiding behind a locked panel on each end of the vehicle in which the passenger service officer (PSA) can drive the car if necessary. Other consoles at each door opening for the PSA to control closing the gates and make ads, while patrolling the train. Without a conductor post, the car fully glazed finishes provide excellent views to the front (or later) for the passengers.

The opening of the 1987 fleet consists of 11 light rail vehicles built in 1986 by LHB in Germany and numbered from 01 to 11. These cars were built prior to initial ground system, and because the lack of appropriate fire sealing, not allowed to operate in extending the tunnel to the Bank. For this reason, and because adaptation a new signaling system was too expensive, these cars were sold in 1991 to Essener Verkehrs-AG, Essen, Germany where they have been largely rebuilt and commissioning in its commuter rail between 1994 and 1998.
