Blue Comet
With motorcycles, Hyosung GT650 Comet prowling the streets of just under eight thousand, I think alarm bells in Japan – and therefore it should be. Introduced in late 2003, Comet was Korean manufacturer Hyosung's first "big bike" put on the Australian market, and made a big Splash – Splash although this is more to do with what the bike represents, more than it actually was.
For the past 50 years most non-Japanese Motorcycle Manufacturers in Asia have been sleeping giants, but now these giants are starting to wake up. Moreover, until recently, these companies focused on low-budget travelers to transport large quantities Asia. With cheap labor and simple economies of scale at work here, the Chinese and Koreans can now create more sophisticated products more cheaper than their Western counterparts, and with respect to motorcycles, which is a problem for Japanese manufacturers in particular find it difficult to combat.
But enough crystal ball – back to the bike that sent me this trick, first. When you are so used to names like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki, it is understandable that the market could be a little wary of something like the GT650 Comet, given its country of origin and that super low price. Only one thing can allay these fears, and is a trial run – and just a stroll away from these for a short period before starting to dream about what you can buy with the money saved by buying one of these against a Japanese competitor. Many people have also been broken Hyosung – over 2,000 were sold last year, covering scooters, roadsters and cruisers, and accounted more than 100 percent over 2005.
After a comet myself for a couple of weeks, I can see why it is rapidly gaining popularity. Although the name is not exactly captivate Scream ', but really feels like a solid team. The travel position is relatively upright, as one might expect from a naked like that, and it's perfect for choking in heavy traffic, although the angle of rotation is somewhat limited for a bike of this style. 100km / h in sixth gear, it pulls 4000rpm, is very relaxed long distance, if you feel brave the wind for long periods, while if you're really in need of a little more protection you can always opt for GT650S Tourer, with screen and upper fairing, or GT650R sport bike with full fairing. Black marks on the GT650 Comet are relatively rare. It notes the lack of electronic fuel injection that requires a bit drowned before overheated, but it's no big deal – it was not too years ago that for each bike. Your overall finish is not quite the norm say a Suzuki SV650 – and watches in particular, I thought it looked a little cheap and heavy – but not is too far.
