Milk Cans
I am often asked: What can be done with goat's milk, in addition to soap and lotion? Well, almost everything you would with regular cow's milk can be goat's milk cheese, yogurt, ice cream, butter, etc. You can also add liquid or powder to fudge recipes for all skin cream soap!
After many people asked us this question, I started searching the Internet. We toured the local shops – shops countries, agricultural markets, etc. We chose the brain Guard dairy goats. We found many recipes for cheese, and tons of other things. You can make mozzarella, ricotta, cottage cheese, the cultures for making cheese, fresh goat milk, and more. We even found some of the recipes from other goat milk holders online. Most goats Dairy will sell goat milk, goat milk butter, and several varieties of goat cheese.
You can substitute goat's milk products in their favorite recipes that call for milk. If you are interested in making your own cheese, goat milk, ice cream or yogurt, be sure to see some of our recipes below or you can search Google for your account.
Like most dairy products, goat milk can be frozen. Canned or goat milk powder to be reconstituted frozen in plastic containers or glass, leaving enough room on the top for expansion. We recommend that you thaw the milk in the refrigerator and used within seven (7) days after thawing. To maintain good flavor, do not freeze goat milk for more than two months. Goat milk butter can be frozen for 6 months. We do not recommend freezing quality goat cheese. (Do not freeze cheese from cow's milk or, if attempted, then you know why not say freeze!)

These plates are for all fans of goat milk and may call for ingredients such as eggs, nuts or butter and cheese cow, which some people may be sensitive. Modify income replacement of egg substitute, margarine, or goat cheese, as needed.

Simple soft cheese: This is a simple recipe that requires only 1 / 2 gallon of raw goat milk, juice of 2 lemons strained through a thermometer capable of the range of 180-200 ° C, some of the "cheese" (cotton fabrics much work to go), and coarse salt (kosher or sea salt). Drain for 4-8 hours depending on how you want to dry the curd

Scratch sheet curd into a bowl and mix.
That's everything! Use on toast, in salads, pancakes – anything you want. Experimenting with herbs (added at the end when you move the cheese). For most manure, heat the milk and curdle the 190 before. Experiment with temperature and drying time coagulation for cheese that meets your needs.
Jug (Mexico caramel)
3 quarts of goat milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 cups sugar
¼ C. tea baking soda
Dissolve baking soda and corn starch corn 1 cup milk. Stir well to dissolve any lumps. Add the remaining milk and add sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, for cooking. Cook until mixture is thick and looks like a caramel sauce. Pour into jars, let cool and refrigerate. This makes a great complement makes a delicious ice cream and apple sauce!
Fudge
3 cups sugar
2 / 3 cup goat milk
3 / 4 cup margarine
6 oz chocolate chips
7 oz marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix sugar, milk and margarine in saucepan heavy sauce room. Stirring constantly, bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for five minutes. Remove from heat and stir until the melted chocolate chips. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla, beating until well blended. Pour into 9 X 13 Pan Pan. Cool to room temperature. Can also add nuts if desired. Enjoy!
